Homework & Home Learning |
At KS3 homework tasks are designed to support class room learning and prepare students. Tasks will vary from learning visual language, a learning journal and research tasks. All tasks are designed to prepare students for future study and are simplified tasks done at GCSE.
Students in Years 7 and 8 will be set 30 minutes worth of homework each week. In Year 9 this will increase to 40 minutes with the option to join in additional practical sessions held in the department after school. Students in Key Stage 4 will be expected to complete at least one hour of homework and commit to additional sessions after school, and at weekend and holiday schools in order to complete outstanding coursework. It is essential that students try their best to meet deadlines.
Additional and interesting clips, resources and programs that support students study will be added on Google Classroom regularly too.
