Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-Up Premium/Covid Catch-Up Premium
Schools receive a small sum of money each year to support the learning in English and Mathematics of those children entering in Year 7, having achieved below national average scores (usually a standardised score of less than 100) in their Year 6 SATs.
We provide below an evaluation of the impact of the previous year's catch-up funding and our planned expenditure and activities for the coming year.
Ordinarily, funds are allocated separately for Year 7 Catch-Up and for Pupil Premium overall. However, for 2021/22 academic year, the statement below encompasses the work the school is doing for both the Pupil Premium and Covid Catch-Up funding.
For SEN and Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy specific questions about the catch-up premium, please contact Mrs Victoria Crowe, the school SENDCO vcrowe@fernhillschool.
For more general information about Pupil Premium overall, please contact Mrs S Morgan, Pupil Premium and Vulnerable Groups Advocate smorgan@
