Mrs Jones Head of Maths & Computing I started teaching in 2005 and moved to Fernhill in 2013. I previously qualified as an Advanced Skills Teacher and moved to Fernhill as a Lead Practitioner. I took on the Head of Department role in 2018 and really enjoy developing the curriculum with my team.

Mr M Shrestha Assistant Head of Maths & Computing I started working as an overseas trained teacher, teaching science and maths, and computing since my arrival in the UK in 2006. I gained my QTS in Chemistry from the University of Southampton, but I mainly teach mathematics and computing at Fernhill. Here and overseas, I have been teaching for the last 30 years. Mr Crutchley Maths teacher After an extended career in the army I have now been working at Fernhill for over 10 years. In that period of time I started as a Cover Supervisor and have progressed to become a maths teacher. I enjoy teaching maths and watching the students develop and progress. Mrs Goodwin Maths Teacher This is my fourth year teaching maths at Fernhill school. I have always loved the subject, applying it in industry as a business accountant, then financial analyst, before reverting to teaching. Ms Hoskins Maths Teacher Progression/Careers Lead I joined Fernhill School in 2004 as an LSA, I enjoyed working with students and thought about the idea of teaching. I completed my degree whilst working and completed my qualified teaching status within a few years. I have worked as a hairdresser, post lady, childminder and receptionist.
