Fernhill School has a strong commitment to the development of every student's wider character and understanding of the world in which we live. We aim for our children to be safe, kind and respectful to others, to celebrate difference and diversity and to be outstanding contributors to local, national and global society. Our PSHE, RSE and Citizenship curriculum is at the core of this development. As part of the RSE programme, students are taught an age-appropriate sex education curriculum, based on guidance from the Department for Education. Information regarding the content of this programme
can be found in the school's Relationships and Sex Education Policy in this section and in the curriculum maps for each year group.
