Extra Curricular Visits & Enrichment |
We are enthusiastic about extra-curricular activities in technology.
In food there are after school cooking clubs and completion clubs.
In recent years Fernhill has been very successful at competitions in 2021 we came first in the national create and cook competition having made the finals in the previous two years.
Guest speakers and chefs will visit Fernhill to judge competitions, give demonstrations and assistance with NEA work. We have had visits from Executive Chef Exclusive Hotels, Farnborough College and from the Vegan Society.
We have some exciting after school activities in technology including the herb garden and the Winchester Cathedral totem pole project.
